ALFRED is an experimental zine that tells the story of a candle shaped like a male torso, exploring themes of insecurity, belonging, and self-acceptance. The visual language combines photography, illustration, and experimental typography.

As part of the process, the letters spelling ALFRED were handcrafted from clay, photographed, and later incorporated into the typography of the zine. The project was created during the first semester of my Master’s degree in Communication Design.
